The AYBL Sportsmanship Award was started by the league in 2025.
This award recognizes a player in each division who exemplifies leadership, sportsmanship, and the values of youth recreational basketball: teamwork, fair play, positive attitude, and supporting their teammates. These players connected with all their teammates socially and supported their teammates in practices and games. Our sportsmanship nominees display respect for players, coaches and referees.
Coaches nominate players from their team and the award is decided on by the division commissioner.
